AMERICAN WOMEN · IN FORMULA RACING
Climbing the ladder
to Formula 1
RaceLikeAGirl.com tracks and promotes every current American driver in formula open-wheel racing. Our goal is to see the first American woman driver in F1. That starts here!
Meet the 2026 roster
This roster is intended to be the most complete source of information on American drivers in formula racing worldwide. For drivers who are minors, we require parental permission for us to include photographs of the driver. Drivers or teams may send any updates to info@racelikeagirl.com.
The Road to F1
Racers must make their way through the junior series, through F1 Academy, F4, F3, and F2 to make it to F1. There are also related series such as GB3 and GB4 that help the racers to progress. Here is each step with the list of drivers at that level. Tap any box to see the details.

American Formula Driver Development
RaceLikeAGirl.com exists to increase public awareness of American women in formula racing. The site seeks to increase development opportunities for all drivers.
In addition, to select drivers on the grid, we provide the American Formula Driver Development Program. This program provides financial and logistical backing to drivers to help them improve their skills. The program seeks to provide individualized assistance that might include access to SIM training, access to driver coaching, travel opportunities and more.
Support is tailored to each driver, based on what would actually help her. It can include:
- Personal and physical training
- Simulator equipment and simulator training
- Race-related travel for developmental opportunities
- Scholarships for additional training or coaching
- Introductions that help with progression toward F1 Academy and higher levels
We support the driver, not the team. The program is not there to replace or compete with a driver’s race team or her existing sponsors, and it is not meant to fund a whole season. A driver needs the resources to compete at her current level already. What we add is the extra support that makes her better and widens her chances of moving up.
Drivers interested in being part of the American Formula Driver Development program may email us at info@racelikeagirl.com.
