13–18 typical ageThis is the earliest levels of open-wheel racing. Sealed, low-downforce single-seaters on a spec tire, run on calendars short enough that a rookie can learn racecraft without a budget that ends a career in one season. Nothing here counts toward a Super Licence. It counts toward being ready - and it is where the first serious sponsorship conversations happen.
Super Licence points are awarded for winning a championship at a tier the FIA certifies. Winning every title on this card would be worth 0 of the 40 points a driver needs across three seasons to be eligible for Formula 1.
